Bill has more than 30 years of experience in mechanical systems design. He brings seniority, extensive experience, and proactive design approach to the mechanical engineering discipline of the firm. His experience includes work in housing, retail, hospitality, commercial, healthcare, higher education, and government projects. Bill has been at the forefront of energy efficient design for much of his career. His approach to energy efficient design is to utilize energy modeling in combination with life cycle cost analysis to test the cost effectiveness of applicable facility energy conservation measures. Bill has used this methodology to justify use of high efficiency systems including co-generation systems, high efficiency air conditioning/refrigeration equipment, ground source heat pumps systems, heat recovery systems, renewable energy systems and high-performance building envelopes.
