Michael has over 35 years of award-winning, multi-family residential and urban design experience. Locally and nationally, his career has focused on improving the urban environment within housing and mixed-use developments, while spearheading our in-house design process to embrace our communities, and create excellence and consensus-building for the developer and the neighborhood. As the design partner on major projects such as Bowline, Schmidt Artist Lofts, Custom House, and Mill City Quarter Development, he has introduced creative designs that pave the way to innovative, industry-leading residential environments. Together with the partners at BKV Group, Michael is instrumental in defining our design philosophy by constructing new urban communities that enhance and advance the quality of residential living.
