BKV seeks a Landscape Designer II to join its Landscape and Urban Planning practice. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, team-oriented individual with strong time management skills, a desire to learn and participate in all phases of design. The Landscape Designer II will be a critical member of a network of design professionals across the firm who value collaboration, fresh insight, and excellence in design and documentation. The candidate will serve as landscape designer for various BKV Group projects by performing the following duties.

  • Assists in the implementation of design concepts primarily for multi-family residential exterior spaces and physical environments.
  • Preparing project design drawings, details, and specifications from schematic design through construction documents in Revit.
  • Creating 3D computer models using Revit, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, or similar programs.
  • Create color plans, renderings, project elevations, perspectives, and presentation boards.
  • Assist with precedent and visioning studies.

Qualifications

  • Landscape Architecture degree from an accredited university.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field such as placemaking, ecology, stormwater/drainage, climate, soil, grading, and plant materials.
  • 4-8 years related experience.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently with team members.
  • Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional technical skills preferred, such as SketchUp.
