BKV Group seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of related experience to join our team. The candidate must have electrical engineering experience in all aspects of design and documentation for multi-family housing, commercial and government projects. Responsibilities will include the following:
Provides senior electrical engineering and design leadership to BKV Group.
Project related responsibilities include the following:
- Analyzes the design requirements, specifications, and performance requirements to determine the best and most appropriate designs to meet customer expectations, code requirements, and all life and safety considerations.
- Coordination of the electrical design with the other project disciplines and the Project Manager.
- Execution and oversite of project electrical designs.
- Construction Phase support including submittal review and RFI response.
Technical Leadership responsibilities include the following:
- Mentoring and developing engineering staff.
- Maintaining and developing electrical standards in collaboration with senior engineering staff.
- Assisting the Electrical Discipline Lead and Director with electrical work product quality control.
- Acts as a senior electrical engineering and design resource, provides assistance and guidance to project engineers and designers
- Confers openly and directly in a respectful and professional manner with other personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop design.
qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of focused electrical design experience.
- Professional Engineering License
- Experience with Revit and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public.
